Phantom of the Opera

Last Saturday, some of us went to see Broadway show Phantom of the Opera. These were 5 sketches I made the Sunday after. Some of the memorable scenes that I could remember.

"Masquerade"
This was the actual view from where I was sitting. It was the most catchy and colorful scene. I combined two separate acts on this sketch: The Masquerade dancing with Raoul in black, and Phantom dressed in red descending the stairway.

"Hannibal rehearsal"
The first colorful scene. Notice Madame Giry watching from the side.

"Labyrinth underground"
The famous song 'Phantom of the Opera' everyone knows about.

"Graveyard at Peros"
In my opinion, the best song sang by Christine Daae was at the beginning of this act. This particular scene was near the end of this act, where Phantom challenging Raoul to a duel. I like the mausoleum too, secluded and perfect place for solitude : p

"Prologue"
This scene caught my attention as it was mostly brown and dark, gave a somber feeling and eerie musical monkey toy. I am not sure who was the old man on the wheelchair.

This is awesome! "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again" is also one of my favorite songs from Phantom.

You should do a sketch of the phantom van as well! :p

The old man in the wheel chair is Raoul many many years later!
